So, I’m 14 weeks pregnant with three kids already. I’m legit exhausted with migraines everyday and my back killing me. This morning, my husband wanted to have sex and I told him right before my head is killing me. He goes on to say that’s just an excuse and gets all pissy. He ends up leaving with my 3 year old for a haircut. I texted and let him know I’m a little sick of him getting so mad for not wanting to have sex when I’m feeling so crappy. He proceeds to tell me “then looks like we are both sick of something.”  Like am I the only one who has a husband who just really tries to make me feel guilty for not feeling well? I honestly don’t even know what to do anymore. Im straight exhausted.

Ummm I’d probably throat punch him and blame it on my hormones. This is my third pregnancy and once more I have hyperemesis. I feel so guilty for not being able to do much around the house to help my husband or be as intimate as we once were. His response, “Go lay down babe, I got this.” Does he get frustrated with the kids and misses being close to me? Yep! But he communicates those things in a loving way and he knows this too shall pass soon. I’d tell him unless he wants to be cut off from the V permanent he better step up and stop acting like a child!

Just because this is common doesnt make it okay. I would be so upset if my husband ever acted that way towards me. Im currently 25 weeks pregnant and its been a good month since we have had sex because I have hated it since ive been pregnant. When I told my husband it wasnt enjoyable for me and it was probably going to happen a lot less, he hugged me, kissed my forehead, and said "honey if you arent going to enjoy it we arent doing it! You're creating a damn human and I know with comes crazy hormone changes that im sure impact your sex drive. If I need to I can get myself off, it's whatever. As long as you still want to cuddle me". In this month of absolutely no sex he hasn't brought it up once or even hinted at it. Its all about respect. He respects me and my body and the fact that inside me right now is his growing son. There are definitely more important things going on in this stage in life than where he can put his penis. I hope you can try talking to your husband and communicate how you feel and how he is making you feel but do it in person not over text. Texts always get miscommunicated :) good luck!

My husband responds by saying "Its okay. You don't need to apologize. You're growing a baby. That takes a lot to do." 
I try to keep our sex life healthy, and try to pleasure him a few times a week, because it can cause tension. But I do it because I want to or feel up to it. Don't feel bad for not wanting to engage in sex. If you don't feel good, you don't feel good. Pregnancy is hard. We're sore, nauseous, tired. Idk about you guys, but the last thing on my mind is sex lol. He needs to sympathize a little.

My husband struggled at the beginning because I was SO sick and tired. I sent him articles about the changes, impacting the body, sickness, migraines, whatever. Not in a “see I told you so” way but more like to include him in the process. We argued a lot when I wasn’t feeling well and he didn’t understand / thought I was lazy.

Your not the only one. I hear this complaint from a lot of women. It is unacceptable though and he needs to respect you more. He does not have rights to your body and he needs to respect you when you say no.

My boyfriend is the same way. He gives me the most attention when he wants to be pleasured and gets pissy when I tell him I feel sick or my boobs hurt please don’t play with my nipples or if I have some cramps. He doesn’t understand how I feel so icky just because I’m pregnant. 
It would be fine if he would be ok with every couple days but he demands SOMETHING every day. I can’t even get a back rub without giving head in return.
