I am 36 weeks pregnant with my second baby... I had placenta previa with my first, and a c-section at nearly 37 weeks— I literally never felt a single real contraction in that pregnancy that I know of. In the last couple weeks, I have been having real contractions! I know because I was in a car accident two weeks ago and had them in the hospital without realizing they were happening and the nurse showed me how I could tell by the hardness of my belly that they weren’t just Braxton Hicks.

They aren’t regular enough to be labor, but they ARE real, they DO often really hurt, and they are happening every day... sometimes like 2-4 in an hour, especially at night. Some of them I can’t even talk until it passes, and make a weird moan sound...

Is this normal????
