Has anyone ever been diagnosed with cervicitis and NOT had it be from an STD? I had my pap last month and the dr said my cervix was inflamed, and ran tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea both which came back negative. I’ve also had bleeding between periods, after sex, burning when peeing and all of this began after sex with a new partner. My Dr. prescribed me doxycycline which google says is for gonorrhea/chlamydia. How could I have it if my tests were negative? I’m freaking out
