When you started getting contractions how long did you wait to go to the doctors?

I labored at home for as long as possible. I went to the hospital when my contractions were 3 min apart- got there at noon had my daughter at 3 :) 14 hr labor total.

Until they were five minutes apart which is what the hospital told me.
I was having irregular contractions for about 14 hours at that point.
Some doctors say they want four minute apart contractions, water breaking, etc.

It was 7 hours from when they started to my arrival at L&D. They had me come in when they were 3 minutes apart lasted 1 minute for an hour.

Left when they were 8 mins as I labor quick. Sure enough I was 5cm when we got to hospital at 4
Min apart. That’s in 30 mins!
