Any tips for flying with a baby?

Good morning! My family is going to Florida in a little less than 3 weeks and we are flying. My son will be a little over 10 months old at that point. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for flying with a baby? Also, I’m going to try and go with the flow in regards to his schedule but I tend to get stressed when he is off his normal schedule. Any tips for keeping a baby on a schedule when out of town? Thanks in advance!

Definitely baby wear through the airport. I was so glad I did this and made it so easy to go through security. We did gate check our stroller and car seat & actually used the stroller as a way to carry a couple bags through the airport.
Also, nurse/feed (if possible) during take off and landing. This helped my girl a ton and she actually slept through both take offs and landing.
We had no issue with sleeping while on our trip. My girl is a not so great sleeper anyways lol so I didn’t notice a difference. We had to learn to be a bit flexible with naps, which was a struggle for me, because we were so busy. But, for the most part, the sleeping all seemed pretty normal.

We recently had a trip to California last week and I had the same worries. Being 3 hours off our home time, I was concerned but my son actually stuck to the same timing as far as his feeds, naps, and bed time. During the plane ride, my son did very well. He, of course, was up and down and moving a lot. I brought his blanket and a couple toys in his bag but he wasn’t interested. He wanted whatever he would see around our seat. I wouldn’t stress on it too much. That’s what i did, but my baby did great.

We timed the flights with her typical nap schedule. By doing that and getting to the airport early (she slept in the car there), she easily slept through the entire flight. We nursed at take off, which put her to sleep and helped with pressure changes.  The noise during the flight is perfect for sleeping. 
Also, baby wearing through security was helpful. I was worried about flying with her so young, but it was a really easy experience.
