I’m just a little sad that I never had a baby shower for my first and absolutely nothing for this baby. No gifts, no love and support, my own mother left the hospital in the middle of my labor and didn’t talk to me for months afterward. “Find your village” they say. What about when you have no village? Sorry for complaining. We struggled for so long to even have one child, let alone two, it would just be nice to celebrate their lives with others who care. 😔
