Why did he give up

My ex claimed he wasn't ready for a relationship. Gave up on me after I expressed over and over again how much I loved him. All too move on to new girls in less then a few hours after the break up. I just wanted him to try but I was too much "maintenance" for him according to him. Just why did he have to string me along... They will only try for the one they truly love. Ladies do not ignore red flags early on!! If they do not respect you and give you what you deserve move on! Lesson learned
