While pregnant? What are your thoughts? I'm craving a spicy tuna or salmon roll so bad. And my hubby just brought home a menu from work for a new sushi place and its KILLING me how bad I want some. And I'm talking raw sushi. Just a little and at least just this once. I dont know if I can wait 20 more weeks to have some but I will if I need to lol. But man these cravings for it are huge
Does cooked sushi taste as good as raw sushi??? I've only had raw and never had it cooked before.

Sushi is fine. Read “expecting better.”  Many of the “rules” of pregnancy are not based on actual evidence. Sushi is one of them. Almost all sushi in US is flash frozen, killing bacteria (just like cooking). If you are ordering from a reputable place with safe food handling, your risk of listeria or other food poisoning is very low. You should avoid high mercury fish though (mostly certain kinds of tuna). 
It’s worth noting that women in many other countries eat sushi. Women in other countries are told to avoid raw veggies, but we aren’t told that in the US. Food poisoning is kind of a crap shoot. The best you can do is go to trusted places and be safe with food you cook at home.

Get that sushi, girl. I've eaten plenty. I'm not eating raw fish I caught from the St.John's river. It's properly handled and risk is low.

My OB gave me the go ahead on all sushi, even raw.
 Maybe call and ask yours for their opinion?

My doctor said it was fine in moderation as long as I don’t go to some sketch sushi place.

Ive been getting cooked and vegetable sushi. I sure mislss the spicy tuna rolls but those definitely help my cravings 😁

I eat sushi raw :) it’s my biggest craving. I just don’t over do it. I have it once a week.
