Can you get a false positive OPK test after a miscarriage?

Question

I just had a D&C on May 9th. I took a clear blue digital ovulation test and it told me today was my peak day. Just wondering if you can get a false positive or am I really ovulating? My doctor told me I could start trying one week after my procedure. 
Anyone have any insight. Everything online is so vague or conflicting.

I had a Mc 4/18 a week later took a blood test to test hcg and it was no longer in my system. I ovulated two weeks later and I still haven’t got my period. Hoping to be pregnant once again!

I’ve had two d&c’s and from what I remember you should be on pelvic rest for 2 weeks and wait for bleeding to stop. After having a d&c you can still have hcg in your system and that can cause a ovulation test to show a positive reading. I would take a pregnancy test to see if you still have hcg in your system and if not it might be you ovulating! Best of luck!!
