How effective is withdrawal?

My boyfriend and I just had sex. I know today is my ovulation day so he pulled out. The position we were in, I’m not sure if any had gotten inside me or not, if so it would’ve been very little. How effective is the withdrawal method and what are some actions I could take to prevent getting pregnant is I did get some inside me?

You can still get pregnant from pulling out especially if he pulled out a little late. All you can really do at this point is take a plan B if you really want to be sure but since you're ovulating it might not be effective.

Beats me why on earth you would have unprotected sex on the literal most fertile day of your cycle when you don't want to get pregnant 🙄  
The pull out method is sketchy. You should at least be pairing it with the fertility awareness method if you really don't want to use any form of birth control. 
All you can do now is either take plan B to be safe or don't take it and wait for your next period to show up. And please take better precautions in the future.

Birth control and condoms will help you prevent pregnancy. Stop having unprotected sex unless you want to be pregnant. You have up to 72 hours to take plan b.
