Mom shamed for not breastfeeding

My baby is a week old and 2 days and I keep getting shamed for not breastfeeding by my family. It’s getting to the point where I’m feeling depressed cause I couldn’t. My nipples are very inverted so she couldn’t latch on. I bought nipple shields but she was only able to latch on sometimes and she would cry a lot cause she was hungry. I wanted to breastfeed so bad, but my stupid nipples won’t cooperate😔.
