Planned parenthood?
So ever since January whenever I start my period I get really depressed. It sometimes happens before but it is usually when I’m on my period. I get so depressed I take sleeping pills to sleep and have some dark thoughts. My mom knows all of this and has taken everything and what not. She has made me an appointment for the obgyn and so we went in about a few weeks ago. When I went in they didn’t believe me when I said I was getting depressed all she told me was to exercise which I have tried many times before and it doesn’t help. Well my mom was thinking about going to planned parenthood to see if they could do anything to help me.
I have been on birth control before and the last type I was on was the depo shot which was I think last year and I know it messed up my hormones and everything.
What can I do to help my depression and do you think planned parenthood could help or will believe me?
I’m 16 and I never get depressed I am always happy but when I start my period I’m not like that anymore and as soon as I stop my period I’m back to being my normal happy self. It honestly scares me feeling and thinking like this
