I started losing my mucus plug this week and brought it up at my apt. I asked if it meant I could go into labor soon as I’m 38 weeks. My OB explained to me the mucus plug is as useful as Braxton Hicks at determining labor. It’s a good sign, it means your body is preparing...but just because you lose your plug or have Braxton Hicks, doesn’t mean labor is near. He told me I could still very well go overdue 🙃
