Milk Rash Remedies???

My LO has a horrible milk rash! A lot of milk runs out of her mouth when she eats, and we try to keep it from coming in contact with her skin by tucking a burp cloth under her chin when she eats, but it’s still getting on her and now she has this horrible rash. I wiped the whole area down with a wet washcloth and then patted it dry and applied some coconut oil. But I’d like to know the best way to actually get rid of it and what I can do better to prevent it in the future.
