Possible EDS

Recently I found out I might have EDS after being examined by a physical therapist I have hypermobility in all my joints, ribs, spine and neck. I have always had unexplained bruising and bleeding along with intestinal issues.

Is hypermobility and EDS the same thing? And can a primary care doctor or physical therapist make the actual diagnosis? If its EDS everything with my bleeding and severe bruising will finally make sense after all these years
