Dying for a Caesar 🥗

I’ve heard that many Caesar dressings are a no-no because they contain egg yolks.

Does anyone know if this applies to refrigerated store-bought dressings? I’m guessing grocery stores aren’t selling unpasteurized things...

I don’t know if I can make it another 7 months without Marie’s Caesar Dressing!

If the dressing ingredients say pasteurized on it, then it’s fine. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I literally make my own mayo at home with raw eggs and I’m not planning to stop. But truly, I’m sure store bought packaged dressings are safe. Honestly, I bet the lettuce is the more dangerous thing since lettuce is hard to clean, eaten raw, and often is recalled due to E. coli, listeria, etc, but for some reason nobody ever tells pregnant people to avoid salads , I don’t get it 🤔

Most Caesar salads are not made with raw eggs anymore, it’s actually super rare. 99% of the places you get it should be fine so I don’t even worry about it and eat them constantly.
