Mucus plug?

For the all the mom's out there, I have a question. With your first pregnancy, how long did you go into labor after losing your mucus plug? I have been 1cm dilated for a week now and I lost my mucus plug this morning!

When I had my son I lost my mucus plug around 2:00 pm and then went to the hospital I was only 2cm and had my son the next day at 5:45 am.

I lost my plug 3 times from being 1cm and having 3 sweeps at 36 weeks-due date.  By due date I was 3 cms with bulging membranes and at 41 weeks I was induced with oxytocin. I tried every trick in the book to get that baby to come and he wasn’t moving.
