May 22nd

On May 22nd I was induced because how uncomfortable I was getting and the swelling in my feet just wouldn’t go down. I was 39 weeks 5 days. We welcomed our little girl Cali Maurice into the world at 7:57 pm at 8 pounds 9 ounces and 20.5 inches long. She came out with the chubby cheeks and a full head of hair. We are so blessed!

I tried breastfeeding the first few days but it was just too overwhelming for momma and I decided that to keep momma sane and to help keep baby healthy that we will be doing formula instead. A fed baby is a happy baby, breast or formula! ❤️❤️
