Anyone else ask their family (even mom) to ask before rubbing your baby belly?

I’ve never been super touchy, but today my mom went to rub my belly (not even a bump yet- 10 weeks) and I gently said it’d be nice if you asked first... she gave me this questioning look... and rubbed again. 
I spoke with her later about it.  She seemed somewhat offended- “I’m you mom” and I explained... I’m probably not going to tell you no, but it’s my body and I want people to ask first. 
I felt kind bad, but those are my wishes... I just want a heads up before my belly is touched...

Whenever someone rubs my belly without asking, I say “um that’s my vagina”. I promise they will never do it again and you will get a big kick out of their reaction! I have also bumped them with my belly and said “boom baby kicked” just to freak them out from touching me again lol.

I am a teacher by the way and even my elementary school students were respectful without me saying anything and didn’t try to touch my belly and they were super excited about the baby. One student did ask if he could 🤣🥰 why don’t adults get it? 😬

It’s so weird having someone touch you! I think people should definitely ask. You don’t just got touch and rub people’s stomachs so why do people think it’s acceptable to do it when someone is pregnant? If anything I am more protective of myself when pregnant and don’t want people touching my baby 😆

The only person who doesn’t need to ask my permission is my husband. I made it very clear to everyone, even before I was pregnant, how RUDE I thought it was for people to come up assuming I’m fine with being touched just because I’m pregnant. 
Thankfully no one has just randomly touched me and even my mom and best friend have asked. I honestly don’t care about them touching me, I just want to be asked first.

I wouldn't let anyone touch me before 20 weeks because I didn't even look pregnant. Now I'll let them if they ask. Only a couple gave tried without asking. I'm a very sarcastic/joking type person so I'll usually block them and say I'll shank you if you touch my belly. Lol. Then I'll tell them it's ok, I just like to be warned before I'm touched.

I hated people touching my stomach, my mom would try and I’d slap her hand (we’re close like that so she thought it was funny) it’s normal to have people ask beforehand. Half the time if someone reached to touch my stomach I’d flinch and tighten it up and it would hurt

Literally everyone has asked if they can touch my belly, and half the time I have to offer so my own parents can feel the baby. It’s totally fair that you want your space respected.
