Can someone please tell me if and why does starting your pill make you continuously bleed for weeks after ? I feel like stopping taking it coz the bleeding is just doing my head in !
I’m 9. Weekspost cs.

Its not the pill, its your body recovering. I am 3 weeks pp and still bleeding.. They say it can last to 6 weeks

I don’t think the pill should do that. You should talk to your doctor. I think by that time your postpartum bleeding should have stopped. This is definitely something to talk to your doctor about. I think people may not answer because they don’t have the answers. Some things need to be discussed with your doctor because they are the experts and we don’t want to give you wrong/dangerous advise. We can only guess. This is one of those thing only your doctor would be able to answer.

You body is adjusting to the pill. It will eventually go away.... hopefully. Imagine taking the depo shot and bleeding for 3 months straight 🥴. I stuck it out because after that I had no more periods
