Any tips?

I have been dating my boyfriend for about a year and a half now, when we have sex we don’t use nothing at all, and I mean nothing, we just use the pull out method. Since then we have sex almost everyone lol. But after almost 2 years I have thought about going on birth control. I mentioned it to him and he got mad at me, saying that after so long why do I want to go on birth control now? Well I explain why to him, and I mean I really want to go on it but I don’t know when’s the perfect time to go on it. I don’t want a baby until I’m like 24, I just turned 20 and i want to go on birth control. Which one should I go in, because i don’t want the pill, I want something easier.
