Fertility issues

Long story short, my husband and I have been have ttc for a while now. I have a 10 year old myself, he has no kids. We found out that we were pregnant and miscarried on the same day back in March. I was devastated. I've tried charting bbt, using OPKs, taking multivitamins, taking mucinex, and drinking pink stork tea. I even took a break for about two months because I thought maybe it would just happen on its own. I'd like to go to a fertility specialist but there isn't one local, the nearest one to me is about 2 hours away. Do you think the health department or a regular doctor's office would be as helpful? Please don't bash. I just want my rainbow baby.
