Anyone else dealing with Preeclampsia recovery?

Im almost 3 wks post csection due to preeclampsia.... had magnesium treatment after delivery and on blood pressure meds since.  Im still seeing spikes in blood pressure and swelling in both legs.  Did anyone have this recovery take so long also? Did you have to stay on blood pressure meds for a long time? Im hoping i can get back to normal soon 😬🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

I'm in the same boat. Delivered on 5/13 at 34+0 gestation for severe pre e, had an emergency c section complete with multiple blood pressure drugs and 24 hours of mag. I have been taking procardia for BP since I got out of the hospital and although my swelling is down significantly (I have lost over 30 lbs 🙄) I am also still swelling up in my lower legs and feet. The highest my bp gets on the drugs is high 140s/90s which is a lot better than it was when I delivered but obviously still too high. My obstetrician told me sometimes it can take several weeks to completely recover esp if your pre e got very serious. I hope you feel better soon x
