Episiotomy?

I had an episiotomy while giving birth and I’m just wondering other than keeping the area clean and not rupturing the stitches, is there anything else I should be doing in the way of after care? I wasn’t told to do anything by any of the doctors or midwives, but I’m just wondering if I should be doing something to help it heal? Or will it just heal on its own?

No just keeping it kept clean and dry. I had one and was told to just do this.

Try not to over exert yourself or stretch your legs too far - getting in the car for example. Sit down on the seat then swing your legs into the car.
