I just need to know I’m not crazy

For the past couple months my periods have been HORRIBLE. Cramping so bad I can’t move, passing blood clots the size of half dollars, migraines, painful sex and extreme pain on my right pelvic side. My doctor isn’t doing anything. He’s just telling me that it’s normal. He switched my birth control to a higher dosage but I’m 12 days away from my period and my right pelvic side is killing me. It’s like a sharp sudden pain that dulls up and then comes back. What do I do?
