Metformin advice

Hey ladies! Can I get any information from you ladies whos used metformin? My obgyn has me on metformin 500mg 2x a day and I was just wondering how it worked for you guys. Did you conceive with metformin? Did it help your menstrual cycles? Did it help you ovulate? Did you have side effects? Anything that might help! I’m using metformin as I have irregular periods and am ttc. I’m hoping maybe just maybe metformin could help me ovulate :) Thanks ladies
