Does anyone have experience with this pump??

The Almeda Finesse? Did you like it? Pros/cons?? I had a Medela with my first but this one is the only one my insurance provides and they won’t ship it out until my actual due date which is kind of slightly annoying because with my first I got it before my due date and was able to play around with it and learn how to work it before I needed it.. but I guess for a $200 I can’t complain!

It's the one my insurance covered so I have it. I personally hate it. The pump is not very strong first off. Also it comes with very little so I had to purchase extra flanges to fit as they give you one size only in the kit. The worst though is if you want to double pump (which you will) you can't without buying a pumping vest or bra or something to hold the pumps while you pump.. You have to manually adjust the knobs during pumping and if you are double pumping you can't do that due to lack luster suction from the pump the flanges usually won't stay on long enough to adjust them so it is just more you have to buy. I wish I would have just bought a better pump out of pocket. With the stuff I had to buy it was still expensive and doesn't work that well. My sister just gave me her old Medela pump and I get twice as much milk from it and it was used for 2 years. I thought I had initially gotten a bad pump but i got a replacement and same issue. Just a weak pump in my opinion. If you get it I hope it works better for you but I am not a fan.
