I breastfeed my son and sometimes give him breast milk from a bottle too. My question is he arches his back and pulls away from my breast while he’s nursing but does not cry. Does it sound like reflux gas or both? During the night I hear him sputtering and I see him lifting his legs straight or curled to his tummy. He sleeps good for one cycle as he’ll wake about 3 times a night but every time after that he doesn’t sleep hardly at all. He rarely spits up and always seems to feel better after a good poop. I’m starting to think I have a forceful let down because I hear him straight gulping while he’s feeding.

Does anyone have a similar story and/or some suggestions on what to do? Doctor said not to give him gripe water for fear of it making it worse.
