Anyone else on bedrest?

I'm 23 weeks and have been on bed rest for the last week and a half. I unfortunately have an incompetent cervix and I'm a nurse. Not exactly a great combination if I want to work during pregnancy. I had a cerclage placed at 13w which helped me not go into labor a week ago. Anyone else going through this? How do you keep from going stir crazy? 😵🤣

Has your doctor put you on progesterone tablets? Like the inserts lol. I didn’t need the cerclage, but I was put on partial bed rest and placed off work and prescribed the progesterone for incompetent cervix. Just now approaching 24 weeks and starting to look good right at 3cm.

Im not on bedrest and havent had anything done due to an incompetent cervix... but just curious in this scenario, obviously its important to keep baby in as long as possible... but when would be a safe time or a time your dr would be okay with taking baby out if needed. 24-25 weeks is viable correct?

I’m basically on bedrest. Was told to lay down and rest as much as I could and not lift on anything because of a subchorionic hemorrhage they found at my 20 week ultrasound. I’m now 22 weeks 4 days and I have until my follow up ultrasound June 18th.

I am too. I received an emergency cerclage on the 21st also due to IC (I'm 23 weeks today.) Bed rest is so hard! I've been doing a lot of Netflix, trying to stay off Google 😂

I’m currently 24+6 and I’ve been on bedrest for 11 weeks now. Not for the same issue, mine is a placenta abruption. It definitely is extremely difficult but totally worth it. My condition has improved greatly and restrictions are being lifted slightly! So just know that this is the best thing for you and your baby right now :) as far as not going stir crazy, it’s very hard. Take up some new hobbies. I made baby blankets and did a lot of reading and binged a ton of tv!

Me too... and am currently on week 25 and doing good.. my cervix is maintaining 3cm and I think my abdominal cerclage is doing great..

Anyone else on bedrest?
