Dumb question about braxton hicks 🤦🏻‍♀️

Sorry if this is silly but I'm slightly confused. I've read and been told that bh contractions will stop with movement. Does that mean if you are experiencing one and get up to walk or move that it will stop immediately, like while you are having one... or does it mean it will stop future ones coming on? 🤔🙈
