Hey ladies I need some hair help !!!! Lol

Okay, so my hair was a dark dark brown almost a black. So on Wednesday I tried to highlight my hair & it turned orange it was a total fail. So I decided to strip my hair last night (Thursday) & completely went to my natural hair color. So the girl at Sally’s told me if I plan on doing another hair treatment to go ahead & bleach it because it won’t come up as light as I think. So do you all think that I should wait to bleach it or go ahead & do it. I have no one else to ask so I turned to glo lol. I’m posting pictures of the process. Thanks in advance for any advice.
