I was curious how those who have used Amazon for their baby registry felt about the return policy and ease of returns. Were they very strict about dates?

I’m worried that Amazon seems to only list the return policy as 90 day after shipping?! Which I think is crazy short. My shower is in July, and I’m due the end of September; there is no way I’ll know if things fit/work right away!! I’m afraid if someone tries to get a head start with buying anything, the 90 days may even be before my due date! Am I over thinking this?
