Anyone name their embryos that perished before a freeze/implantation?

Jessica

Last summer my husband and I created two embryos... one died during the freeze due to my hemotoma after egg retrieval; the other is frozen still yet.

I realized I needed to acknowledge this little life, this teeny tiny 3 day embryo... if not for IVF I'd never know even existed.

Because of my faith, we named this child... who's hair color, eye color, gender, even personality was determined before it perished.

We decided on Jordan River Phillips, a gender neutral name.

Anyone else feel profound loss of their embryos, as young as 8 cells or so? If so, how did you manage? Is it okay for us to name a 72 day soul?

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,

Jess
