6 Weeks Still Hurts

My baby is just over 6 weeks now and breastfeeding is still very painful. I have been to a lactation consultant several times and have been told the latch looks good, so that doesn’t seem to be the issue. When the baby first latches on it is extremely painful for the first 30 seconds or so and the pain goes away as the feeding goes on. I am close to giving up on breastfeeding as the pain is just too much. Has anyone else had a similar experience and can offer advice?
