GD at beginning of pregnancy?

Hello girls!,

I found out at 8 weeks of pregnancy that I’m diabetic.

Doctors think that I had diabetes before my pregnancy; but maybe, just maybe it’s a gestational diabetes, I will only find out after this pregnancy. I just wanted to know if GD happened to someone at the begging and then nothing???

I have two type 2 diabetes uncles.

I’m not overweight; I didn’t even had bad eating habits; I didn’t felt nothing wrong before.

Please I need somebody to tell me that is going to be ok!.. I’m so scared, just getting used to this, getting used to insulin, this is hard.

I lost a pregnancy last year; maybe this had something to do???... I’m scared but at least this time in control!!
