I was due for induction May 28th 2019
I was due for induction May 28th 2019. I was told to come in that Tuesday morning for a c section after learning the previous Wednesday that baby had turned breech at 38 weeks. On May 28th I learned that baby was back vertex position and was asked what I wanted to do. I said I would do a vaginal delivery as that was my plan from the beginning. Induction was started that morning and the following day on May 29th my doctor broke my water and started pitocin. Cervidil had been given the day before to soften my cervix and only got me to a 3cm after 24 hours. 4 hours after breaking my water my doctor checked me again and said I was still at 3 cm and asked my nurse to increase my pitocin to 8. Now mind you at this time I had an epidural. She also placed a contraction tracker in my vagina to see how strong my contractions were with the pitocin at 8(thank God for epidural) she came back in an hour and a half later and said that normally when women start to push they expect to see their contractions at 220, and mine were at 280 and 320, which meant I was having strong contractions and even that wasn't bringing baby down more. She said she thought my fibroids had something to do with it and to avoid infection for the baby I needed to now have a c section. I prayed about it with my family and within 20 minutes I was prepped to be taking to OR. At 6 p.m I was reeled in there and by 6:41 p.m my beautiful baby girl was being brought into the world via cesarean section. I cried like a champ! I ended up staying in the hospital 4 days and I'm now recovering from home. I am so in love and couldn't have imagined her to be any more beautiful than she is! This is my Xenaorre-Blyss(ze no ruh Bliss)
