Unexpected

I went to see my consultant on the 2nd of March I was 38+5 days he gave me a good stretch and sweep and I was given my induction date for a weeks time, I went home I got period like cramps lost my bloody show a few hours later and started what I thought was contraction but after 3 hours of regular contractions ( bracton Hicks ) last 1 minute between 4-7 minutes apart they stopped I was gutted went to bed and next night the exact same thing happened at same time sure enough they completely stopped I was gutted, anyway I decided baby was not gonna come till he was good and ready that night my parter was leaving for work at 9 pm he gave me a kiss good by as he left for his night shift and said do u think any thing will be happening I said I haven’t even had so much of a braxton hick tonight so unfortunately no baby tonight and so if he went, I settled down to watch tv for the evening while my 2 year was fast asleep in bed, I put my favourite programme on grabbed something to eat and enjoyed my evening, at 10.15om 1 hour 15 minutes after my partner left I got this intense pain in my stomach like I really needed the toilet so if I went but I didn’t need the toilet when I got there but I got another intense pain not even 2 minute From the first , just 7 minutes after my first pain I was on the phone to my partner who had just started his night shift I said I think I’m in labour he said hmm give in another 20 minutes babe to make sure don’t wanna come home to be a false alarm so I put phone down n thought wtf I’m in agony and scan barely walk but maybe he’s right, anyway 5 minutes after calling my partner I called the hospital to ask advice she said by the sound of ur voice and not even being able to talk u need to come in and get checked out, so called my bf back and he set of to come home, I got my bags and called my dad to come watch our toddler in bed my partner arrived at 11.15 just one hour after my first twinge I could hardly move they was coming thick and fast, we got to the hospital for 11.45 the midwife said I think I need into examine u before I even look at ur notes, I was 8cms I couldn’t actually believe it the pressure was intense but midwife said it’s cos my waters hadn’t broke and they was just sat waiting to go may Time I got on the gas and air and concentrated on my breathing feeling pretty good, at 12pm my waters went and 15 minute later I was literally holding my baby after just 2 pushes I was in utter shock, I think everyone was from my first twinge to holding baby it was 2 hours and couldn’t have been more perfect. I got in the shower just 20 minutes after having him and we left to go home at 8am when my little man came in to meet his little brother.
