Zoloft?

Alright ladies, I’m 37 weeks and got prescribed Zoloft. I’ve read the horror stories. What are the chances of it hurting my baby within 3 weeks of taking it? I’m scared but struggling with severe depression

Your dr wouldn’t prescribe you something that would hurt your baby.

My doctor and I made the decision together for me to start taking antidepressants/Zoloft. 
I had struggled with depression my whole life and always refused but my baby needs a happy mommy so I take 25mg once daily and I have to say I have never been so happy! Felt so normal in my life! I wish I could feel this way without medication but I'm thankful.

My dr took me off all my anxiety meds... gonna be a long 8 months. But worth it!!  Everyone else will just have to over look me 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is mostly withdraw stuff that can happen after delivery. If you’re only on it a couple weeks though before the baby is born, I would think that risk is pretty low for you. I have been on it for a while now and am now pregnant, so my doctor has told me a little about the risks. Also, what dose are you on? Mine is very low, so low doses pose less risk too.

Doesn’t it take two weeks to have any effect anyway? Why not wait till give birth and then start taking it?
