Rainbow baby is #???

Question

After a MC when you announce your rainbow pregnancy, if someone asks you what number baby this is what would your answer be?
Example: you have one baby, then a MC, and you're pregnant again. Would you say this is your third baby or second? I've seen it both ways.

I say I have 2. Yes I had a miscarriage but it wasnt far enough along for me to claim I have 3, or 4 depending k  what point you count them. They didnt have names except the ones I know or graves, so I guess I dont say it.

I would say third pregnancy baby #2 for me with this pregnancy is pregnancy number 9th but just 5 kids

I think this is really subjective and dependent on the person. My first pregnancy was an ectopic, then I had my son, and I’m 26 weeks with a girl. I consider this my third pregnancy, but I always say this pregnancy is my second child. I also will generally only talk about this as my second pregnancy with most people because most people don’t know about my first.

For me, it depends on the person asking typically. I have a 4 year old, two angel babies, and we’re working on having another one. Most of the time I say “baby #2” but in the right context I’d explain that I’ve got a few babies in heaven
