How do you know when ur water is leaking?

Earlier when we got home I felt a warm leaking and my liner was wet. I have to pee every 3 to 5 min and only pee very little and my underwear has some wet spot. I cant remember  this having with my daughter I just had a big gush of water.

Call labor & delivery to see. But that's how mine was just a little trickle since it ruptured from the top. The fluid will have no color to no smell or a very sugary sweet smell.

Peeing shouldn’t have anything to do with it. Change your underwear, put on a liner, lay down and stand up in 20-30 minutes. If it is clear fluid without an odor on the liner then it is fluid and you should head in to L&D. If it is worrisome I would go in anyways just for the clear mind after. Good luck mama

Mine leaked all morning before it ruptured I emptied my bladder and cleaned myself to make sure it wasnt urine every time I moved especially stood up more and more would come out sometimes it had discharge in it too I went to the hospital to get checked when I stood up out the wheelchair it ruptured completely

I was told to lie down for 30 mins and then stand up to see if anything comes out. If its your waters it will pool up and come out when you stand up. Not sure if its 100% reliable method so if it keeps happening definitely worth a call to your OB!

That’s how I was leaking with both my son and my daughter for a good 24 hours before my water actually gushed.
