Worrying if I’d like what my baby looks like?!

Question

Does anybody else feel this way. 
I’m excited to have my baby but there’s times I think what if I don’t like why she looks like - will I reject my baby, will I be happy what she looks like?
Am I being hormonal 😂

You’re going to think your baby is the most beautiful creature in the whole world. 
I remember seeing other moms with their babies & thinking, “Awh, they’re probably so sad that their baby isn’t as cute as mine.” 😂 That sounds awful, but the way we look at our babies is definitely different than the way we view other’s babes.

I hate to admit it, but after my baby was first born, I was a little disappointed in the way she looked. I was worried she had her grandfather’s nose and she just didn’t look like I expected. I think a huge part of that was hormones, and just not knowing what to expect. Now my daughter is 17 months and I think she’s soooooo gorgeous! I think once they start to have their own personalities and they’re not just little blobs that sit there, they really grow on you lol. That may sound kind of insensitive but it’s honest.

I had the same thoughts 🤦🏽‍♀️ I was in labor for 3 days so my daughter was in a contracting belly for 3 days. She was SWOLLEN and I mean swollen, swollen. I was super shocked at how she looked as was all my family. After a couple days it all went down and she looked so perfect! All I could do was stare at her. It normal to have those thoughts but in the end you’ll definitely think they’re the most beautiful thing on this earth 🥰

I’m literally so impatient for my daughter to be here bc I’m worried and anxious to know who and what she looks like lmao. My boyfriend isn’t ugly, nor am I. So I wouldn’t be mad/upset if she came out looking like either of us. I’m just scared bc I know babies can come out looking like other family members down the line. They’re not ugly or whatever but I don’t want her looking like them 😅😅 currently sitting at 35+4, I’m so close and DYING from the wait

I never felt this way with my daughter. I honestly don’t care if my kids look like me or their dad. I adore him after all. However I would like my son to look more like him because me as a boy might not be pleasant lol

I had these same thoughts when I was pregnant and sometimes I look at my daughter (who looks just like her dad) and say why do you have to look like him but then I tell her but I still think you're cute and I still love you 😂🤣😂🤣 btw she is 8 weeks so she doesnt understand what I'm saying yet
