Induction?

I’m seeing so many people post about going in for inductions and just kind of curious what are some of the reasons behind that? 
I just didn’t realize sooo many people had planned inductions!

I was induced on the 28th because my water was leaking and I didnt get any contractions ☹ Not my plan but she us healthy and that's what matters !

I’m just past 40 weeks and my cervix isn’t dilating well naturally. I’ve been having strong contractions and was in L&D and got hooked up to pain meds through an IV with no luck dilating more. Baby also had to have a sonogram because his heart rate was too steady during contractions and he is measuring a little small. So she asked me if I just wanted to have an induction and I agreed for babies sake. I feel like he’s been ready and my body just isn’t cooperating.

1st pregnancy- severely low iron, induced at 39. Ended up hemorrhaging really bad as well. 
2nd pregnancy- fluid around baby was low, induced at 39
3rd pregnancy- iron issue again, and developed severe Cholestasis and they induced at 36 on the day. 
4th and current- being induced this Friday at 37+3 due to developing gestational diabetes and she’s measuring large. My 3rd was 8lbs 6oz when delivered at 36 weeks so they know this one may be large as well and it’s better to deliver sooner. 
I was hoping to let labor start on its own this time but I should have known 🙄
But I’m ready!

I’m being induced early due to GD and high blood pressure. Not my choice. Doctors orders.

Im getting induced no later than 39 weeks because my child does not move often. I fail every NST pretty much and sit there for over an hour every week when they’re supposed to be 20 minutes.
I almost failed my BPP today, but he moved his fingers and jerked his leg really quick and I ended up passing. 
I wanted my body to go on its own but I also would rather have an induction than a stillborn baby.

I’m getting induced because my husband works away and I requested him to be present! They’re inducing me at 38 weeks! Baby was also measuring big, so that helped my case also!

Ik it sounds dumb but my last baby and this one are both planned inductions just because I'm smaller in build. My body can't take the pressure and I broke my hip just walking with my last baby he came out 9 and 1/2lbs now this baby is getting close to being to big too so I'll be induced this Sunday

I'm being induced on the 17th due to baby being big and suffering with spd also got sweep on 12th to see if that can do it first 🤞
