Tooth Trouble?

Hey guys, i just noticed this in my sons mouth this morning while brushing his teeth. The 2 pictures (top 2)with the red were this morning and at first I thought it was a blood blister, but then i looked again a little while ago qnd theres no red at all, just the white that kind of looks like his tooth is coming out the side of his gums and is infected. I made an apt. With his dentist but he can't see him until the 20th. Im probably going to take him to urgent care when my mom gets home with the car but what do you guys think? Has anyone seen this before?
