31 years old never been pregnant and starting IVF for first time

L

So I recently found out I have PCOS (not a typical kind but just don’t ovulate like I’m supposed to) and have a larger than normal amount of eggs, and my husband has poor morphology. Fertility doctor said that our best chances of conceiving is through

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

.

I’m starting the process tomorrow (3rd day of my cycle) and going in for blood work and ultrasound. I just wanted to hear from some others who had gone through this.

I’m a little overwhelmed and I’ve tried to do some research, but I wanted to hear some anecdotes from others about their experience such as the process, how stressful it was, what to expect, whether you had to go through more than once, how long the process took for you, did you pick the gender, what were your chances of twins (we really don’t want twins) etc.

The reason we chose <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> over <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> is due to the higher possibility of twins with <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> and compounded by the fact that I have eggs on eggs on eggs, makes it even more likely.

I never in a million years expected to be here and going through this, but I’m hopeful this will work and we will have our little babe next year ☺️

Any info is appreciated
