COPPER COIL!?!

Question

Anyone had the copper coil and found it better than hormonal contraception? 
Fed up of all these hormones making me bat shit crazy, fat and loosing my hair!
I have had the marina coil before so I know what it’s like to be fitted and taken out!

I hated the Paragard (copper) personally, because I already experienced heavy/painful periods and this made them worse. However, if you have relatively easy periods and are wanting to stay off hormonal birth control, you should give it a go, I do know women who like it

I have the copper coil and tbh i love it. Hormone contraception really effected my feelings so this was a saviour. I had what I assume was relatively normal periods before just cramps on one day. After the coil  the only difference I have is that my period is one day longer. But not I have a longer cycle so can’t complain gone from 28 days to 32  (no pain). I think if you don’t already have heavy or painful periods it’s a good option to think about.
