Paycheck???

Okay so I just started working at Starbucks last Monday (5/27/19) and on Friday some girl said something about getting paid Friday, which was when I had a day off. So idk if I was supposed to get my first paycheck Friday or when I’m supposed to get it. My manager never works the hours I’m there so idk I mean ig I can just text her.

everywhere i’ve ever worked i didn’t get my paycheck until the second pay period, so basically my first check was two weeks of pay. could be that but it’s best to just text your manager.

If you are new it usually takes them a minute to pay you. My workplace took a literally month before they paid me I think I don’t know, I was just broke w 20 dollars in my account.

You could have possibly not been paid because you started working after the pay period closed.

If you started on Monday and they got paid Friday they are being paid for the previous 2 weeks. You started at the beginning of a new pay period so you won’t get paid for another 2 weeks.
