Weird new period symptoms? I think?

Hey everyone!

I need a little help. The past few months, when my period rolls around, my vagina becomes very dry, itchy, and overall irritated (mainly during PMS and the 3-4 days AFTER my period ends, the period itself is totally normal).

This has never happened before, and I tried googling my symptoms but can’t quite find anything that matches. I don’t get any unusual discharge, and there’s no discernible scent. It’s just super uncomfortable. Should I go to a gyno? Has anyone experienced something like this?

I wish my first resort was to go to a gyno, but without health insurance at the moment it’s a tad difficult. If anyone has any suggestions/ideas about what to do to alleviate these irritating symptoms, please let me know!!
