First time pumping

Today I tried pumping for the first time. My 4 week old has started sleeping 5-6hrs at night so I thought I should pump to keep my supply up. I only got about an ounce. Can I combine pump sessions in one bag (in the fridge)? Or do I need to keep them separate? Thanks!
