Thyroid question??

They been testing my thyroid since I was 8w it was a little high but leveled out to a normal range. Well yesterday I went back to repeat my draw and the labs came back and it says my thyroid is now 3.49? I'm 18 weeks.. isint my thyroid supposed to be under 3? I know my dr will call if it's high but just wanted to ask here n see if anyone experienced this

You have a low thyroid...not high (when it comes to thyroid low is high and high is low). I would say yours is still a tad bit on the low side. I’m sure your doctor or their nurse will be in contact with you shortly.

Update : they did call me and I start my medication tomorrow morning 😭😭 I have to get it checked ervy 6 weeks 😭😭😭

The 2.53 was in first trimester they said it was high do I re tested and it leveled out to 1.84 and they said that's good it's under 2. Now I'm in my 2nd trimester and tested again and it came back at 3.49 and I thought in 2nd trimester it's supposed to be at 3 or under???

I take thyroid medication and my doctor checks my levels once a month since being pregnant. He always wants them as close as 1 possible. Your thyroid has to function at twice it's normal level during pregnancy.
