Missed BC pills?! How many is bad?

I've missed today's pill because I wasn't able to pick up my new ones yet and it's possible I won't be able to get them tomorrow either. I was just wondering how many days you have to miss before ovulation occurs? I've skipped just 1 before and spotted the next day but that's it.

Every body is different, so there’s no way to answer that for sure... but you’re supposed to take one every day, at the same time of day, for a reason... every time you miss one, the chances of it not working properly increase.

Missing the first pill of the pack is risky and could definitely lead to ovulation after the week of placebos and no hormones. As the previous commenter said, you take one everyday for a reason. It won’t work if you don’t take it properly
